RIP Syd Mead, the designer of the worlds of Blade Runner, Alien and Tron
When he had only a few hours left in 2019, he died at his home in Pasadena, California, Syd Mead. The name may not tell you much but from his imagination came the visual aspect of the universe of Blade Runner and some of Alien and Tron's best known machines, to name a few of his best known works.
