A WhatsApp video sent by the prince of Saudi Arabia managed to hack Jeff Bezos's cell phone in 2018, according to The Guardian


Jeff Bezos, the richest man on the planet, was hacked with a WhatsApp video. At least that is what The Guardian extracts from a digital forensic analysis conducted on the phone of Amazon CEO. This alleged hacking that took place in May 2018 was made possible by a video that was apparently sent by Mohammed bin Salman, prince heir of Saudi Arabia.

As the investigation indicates, in an exchange of messages between the CEO of Amazon and the prince, the latter sent him a seemingly normal video. However, the video contained a virus that once downloaded the video was able to access data from the phone and extract personal information. Digital forensic analysis sees this possibility as "highly probable." It is believed that large amounts of information were extracted in the following hours, although there are no exact details of what type of information.
