Don Hofmann created Vine, a short video publishing platform, in June 2012. His immediate success allowed him to sell it to Twitter for $ 30 million just 4 months later. However, Twitter did not know what to do with it, and ended up closing it in January 2017 (something they ended up regretting).
Vine is back. Call it 'Byte'.
