Eight hours and 58 minutes mark the record of the longest rainbow in history
On November 30, 2017, Taiwan was lucky to observe the longest rainbow ever recorded. With eight hours and fifty-eight minutes, it is in the process of being included in the Guinness Book of Records.
Of course, its duration is incredibly surprising since these phenomena usually last no more than about 15 or 20 minutes at most. This is mainly due to its meteorological nature. But it is not the first time that something similar happens.
